MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Tonya's going out of town with her family to visit her grandma in Arizona so I'm just gonna maybe spend a few nights at the Old Folks Home.  Everyone will be there tomorrow!!! Gonna be a blast. Luke, Thomas and Jenny and me, all there like old times!!!

Gonna take some time off from blogging, nothing too long, maybe a 4 or 5 days and just relax and enjoy life for a short time before everything gets crazy again!

Ugg... and Hot Selfie

Well, John, our drummer, got totally wasted before the show on Thursday night. He just about wrecked the entire show, totally screwing up almost all of the new songs. We were gonna do 4 new ones and after the second new one, we knew we couldn't do anymore as a band. We finished about 4 more older songs and then me and Josh did the other two new ones we were gonna play acoustic. Needless to say, we kicked him out of the band. HE threw some punches and broke some stuff... Now the search for a new drummer. God, why did this have to happen now. I wish Tonya played drums! That would be awesome!!! A girl drummer in the band, too! How could we go wrong!

Went out after the show with the girls and we had a great time. We went to the beach and then made a late night Waffle House run! I just love the Patty Melt there!!!

Just got up around 2 and took a shower. I'm so freaking lazy and I'm about to go shopping fo sum food! I'm hungry, so that's probably not a good time to go shopping, but, I'm gonna go anyway!

I have another shoot coming up this week, in New York, I think tentatively leaving late Tuesday night or Wednesday! They said something about tomorrow, but wow, that's really soon. Who knows, I just have to go with the flow I guess. Taun-taun's going with me! Should be super fun and amazing! I love that I'm getting to go to so many cool places just so people can take pics of me! This is like the best gig ever! Pics from the other shoot should be out soon. I can't wait to post some on here!

I took this pic in my utility room earlier today. I had to take some trash out and I saw this set-up when I stepped in there and thought it'd do amazing for a selfie. Got my camera and tripod and took a few. This was the winner! Perfect light coming in the door! I really love this pic, if I do say so myself. I also really love my outfit!

Studio, Studio, Studio...

I may as well just move into the studio... Got there around 11am-ish Wednesday morning, left around 3am and went to my place. Didn't go to work yesterday and went back there around Noon. Left there last night around 3:40am and came back to Tonya's. I did bring my laptop yesterday with me and tried to get a few design projects done while I wasn't tracking... Kinda hard on a laptop though.

We're up to 7 songs now with the basic layout complete. Making some headway.

Heather and Jess got back yesterday. They seem to have had a great time. They brought me back a really cool figure set from Star Tours and a neat Darth Vader mug! The 4 of us are going out tonight. Gonna get all dressed up and go to a nice restaurant and then probably to a late movie!!! Should be a fun night. Then probably clubbing! Woo Hoo!!! I think I'm going to go all out with some super, smokie eye make-up I saw a tutorial for a couple days ago on youtube. I'll post the pics in the next blog. For now, in honor of these wonderful gifts Heather and Jess got me, I will leave you with some tasty, visual, Star Wars treats!!!

A Good Ole Lackluster Tuesday...

Tuesday was just what I needed. Nothing unusual. Just a good, normal day.

Yesterday was ok after I got home from work. Work was boring and I just couldn't get going. Kinda sore from yesterday too! Getting home and being with O makes everything better. She did seem in a bit of a bad mood though, which was kinda weird. She occupied herself mostly with doing something on her computer and phone. We watched some TV then she wanted to just go to bed early. Weird again. I just stayed up and watch Nat Geo Wild until like 2 in the morning then I went to bed.

Today was different! Work went well. I had some new work to start and also this one big project to finish before I go part time. Actually, I guess I can finish after that because I really didn't quit. Anyway, I'm gonna try to finish it soon. It's a whole welcome center design for a company. Posters, info packets, pamphlets, brochures... the works! Also I'm designing their "brand" for them and new logo, which really is the brand. It's cool! I love doing this kinda work.

After work, more normality. O was in a better mood! We did out normal stuff, including a jog and we washed our cars. Other than that, just the normal routine - dinner, TV, then 'Letterman.'

Here's a crazy pic! I'm just in a really good mood right now! I feel so freaking happy!!! I don't know why! Before I started this I did just stare at myself in bathroom mirror for like 15 minutes. I went in there to pee and really also thought about that as well. Sitting down to pee. So girly. I'm a girl now!!! Sometimes it still hits me and I get so excited. That must explain my happiness right now!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Gonna go wash my face and hop in to bed and see where that leads! Nighty night!!!

p.s. - I'm going to the beach tomorrow!!!
