Show Today at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale

I'm about to leave the office today and head over to Josh's and get all packed up for the show tonight. We have about a 45 minute drive from his house to the venue and we have sound check around 4:30 or so with the show starting around 6:30pm with us going on around 9pm. Two other bands are playing, I think Last Fight for Carla, who we played with last show, and one other one... can't remember.

WE have a pretty good following in FT Lauderdale with lots of people from here probably making the drive there. CDs should be here in a few weeks and that'll be good to have at shows to sell along with our other stuff.

So, about to wrap up a project and send it off and then head outta here.

Show on Tuesday in Ft. Lauderdale

We've got a show in Ft. Lauderdale in Tuesday at the Culture Room. Pretty cool venue. Can't wait to rock it out!!!

By the way, this is Olivia's old room which is now the junk room... Single tear for Olivia. I do still miss her... :(

About to go over to Tonya's and go lay out for a bit! Supposed to be about 82 today and sunny so a perfect day to catch some rays and not get too hot doing it! WOOT! 

1 Day and Counting...

Had an amazing week!!! Met some totally awesome people and me and Tonya had a great time in the 'Big Apple.' Took tons more pics for the online catalogue and website! These pics are banging! The weather was kinda chilly, but it was nice, too! It's a nice change to have to bundle up a little bit every now and then. But/and for me, even cooler temps seem cold for this Florida gal!

We got back in this morning, actually left late Monday night (yikes!!!) and I just got back from a band meeting about a potential drummer we may have found. The guy was cool and really good, but maybe stylistically was a little different. Plus, he hadn't had much time with the cd and we decided to give him another go on Tuesday after this other guy auditioned for us. He did better and the other guy was good too, but still, something wasn't gelling with me and Josh. We have another guy coming in on Saturday and I'll let you know how that goes.

Deon called me today... That's all I'll say about that.

And, let's not forget what happens in two days!!!

ON the last night, we maybe drank a little too much... Ha. Taun-taun's just a little tipsy! And, regardless of how sober and/or drunk you are, when you party with this girl, it doesn't matter how good you look, she gets all the action! Luckily, that action goes back to the hotel room with me!!!

Overall, a great trip to New York! Can't wait to go back!

Show-Time! in a Few Days.

We have a show lined up for Thursday night at a club downtown. Josh called me just a little while ago and told me but I forgot the name of the place. He woke me up, so... He was on his lunch break and I was still asleep! Lol! He has a real job! Ha! NOT ME!!! Although... I can imagine I have quite a lot of stuff to do in the office today... If I go in. But, it's fun designing stuff, most of the time.

I have an unmastered copy of the cd right now and I'm just going to play along with it and get all the songs and parts in my head cause we have a super long practice scheduled for Wednesday night at Josh's place. I can't wait to play this stuff live. We're not playing all of the new songs, like maybe 3 or 4, but it will be fun. Playing live is so much fun. I love it!

Freaking but Trying to Act Normal...

So yeah... It still hasn't come yet... Maybe it's just thrown off by all that's happening around here. I hope to god that's the case!

Went back into the office today. Tonya's doing much better and the girls are with her for the most part. I'm trying to work but I just keep thinking... What if??? I'm trying not to have a panic attack right now  but all this is really starting to weigh down on my a bunch... Been here a while, just trying to work and not think. Much harder to do now that I'm a girl... These hormones... So crazy!!!

I tried a different look today for my make-up. Just didn't feel like doing the same old things. Needed a change...

That's about all the smile I can manage for today... I actually took some selfies getting dressed because, hey, who knows how long my body will look like it does if I'm... I'm not saying it!!! Maybe I'll post them later...

Gotta get home soon and get the guitar back out and keep going over stuff... Studio time starts Monday! I'm just glad that nothing has gone wrong in the music part of my life... Seems like whatever is at work here is definitely winning though. I hate to say it, but I'm a little scared right now...

Tuesdays are for Lovers...

O woke me up this morning with breakfast in bed. Grits, eggs and bacon (turkey bacon... I told her I'm trying to be healthier) and orange juice. She then went and got her food and we sat in bed and watched the Today Show. I had taken a shower last night so I was gonna go to the bathroom and do my hair a little and put on some make-up. She said that she wanted to fix me up today so I was totally cool with that! She did my make-up first. She did foundation first and then just a little powder. She blended it in really well. She then did a lot to my eyes. Really heavy liner and mascara. Dark grey shadows. There was a lot there but it didn't look like too much... to me anyway. Red lipstick.  Then to my hair. She straightened out my bangs and did the rest of the "mop" in a cute little up-do. She left a few little "fly-away" hairs out of the bun. It/I looked like a million bucks!!! Here's a pic!

I really love that girl!  I was just gonna do a ponytail and minimal make-up. She said it made her sad what happened yesterday to me when I was getting ready and she wanted to make sure I looked good. She damn well succeeded! Olivia, you can do this to me anytime you want! She was so fast and precise. It would have taken me like an hour to do that.

I asked her what she was gonna do today and she said probably some shopping. We kissed and I headed for here and now I just finished my PB&J and I gotta get back to work... I've gotten a few compliments today on my looks! Hannah love it! I'm wearing a kinda tight v-neck "top" and some grey skinny jeans with my black Star Players! It's a good look! I need to remember this!

Oh yeah... The rest of yesterday was super boring. Just one of the most normal days I've had since the change! Work, lunch, work, home, hang out time, Dinner (Pizza), hang out time (we did some yard work...), TV, Nude Letterman watching, make-out session and then sleep. So, yeah, that's normal for me and I frrrreaking love it!!! I love my life!!!

A Wonderful Start to a Manic Monday!

So... Molly came in the bathroom like a little black ninja and jumped up on the bathroom counter and scared the shit out of me while I was putting my mascara on. Had to wipe my whole left eye clean and start over. Hurt like hell! I just wanna get back under the covers. Hopefully the rest of the day wil be better than how this one has started...

This Feels like a Monday Morning from Hell

I hate mornings. I really hate Monday mornings. I really, really hate Monday mornings when I'm super sore from just a few hours of working out. This means that I'm really out of shape!!! My legs are killing me. They are so sore. My abs hurt. My right "pectoral" muscle hurts. Muscles I didn't know I had hurt!!! God, I'm in terrible shape. This is a wake up call! BIG time. Gotta get going to the gym into my weekly routine. Got to do it. At least twice a week!

For some reason, I woke up kinda early and decided to get on up and I ate some Frosted Flakes. Just kinda sat at the table and stared into "space" and really thought about nothing for the first time in a while. I then decided to do my make-up really good this morning because, well, I don't know, just because... I felt like looking good for no reason at all. Just to do it! Didn't really have to do much with my hair but run my hands through it a few times. Guess that was one good thing about this morning...

So, here I am sitting in my office and decided to take this pic... I love the light flooding through the window behind me...

Back to work for me!!! Hoping for a stress free day! I sure need a few of those in a row right now!

7th Morning as Bree! 7 is My Favorite Number!!!

Has it really been a week! This is just a quick post on me being Bree for a week this morning. Slept so well last night! Woke up with sleep lines all over my front side and left side of my face! Well, got up and showered and did make up and hair. I still can't believe what a difference doing make-up and hair can make. I'm getting so used to seeing myself all made-up now. I just love doing it. So much fun. I'm getting quite good and proficient at it as well! Of course I took pics! Do you really need to wonder?

Well, Bree here again! Had a chill night of relaxing! Watched some NatGeo Wild and some X Games Barcelona... yep, I still like that stuff, and ate some leftover Hamburger Helper that I made for dinner on Tuesday... It was ok. Threw the rest out! Wow, that was my last meal as a guy on Tuesday night!!! Good riddance Hamburger Helper and good riddance the guy me! Lol!

Well, anyway, I decided to in fact work on make-up and hair. I watched a few youtube tutorials for "bare minimum coverage" and/or "The Clean and Fresh Look" and this is what I came up with...

Not bad for a first try I'd say! I bought a curling iron at Wal-Mart and a straightener and got my hair to look somewhat presentable. Wow! If I'm gonna look like this everyday, I'm gonna have to get up like 30 minutes earlier than I used to... Wow, the price girls pay to look good I guess! lol! And, I don't know why I spend like 30 minutes looking at myself in mirrors when i see my reflection... Wow, am I turning vain or what!?!?!?

Well, I better take a shower and wash this face paint off... Shower time is so fun!!! And tomorrow, I plan on going clothes shopping!!! Woo hoo! I need some better bras, too. I'm so glad I wore a black shirt today to work. Nips were poking through that little thin cotton bra I wore today like crazy... Maybe I'll go to a department store and get fitted by someone... ;) well, if the bra fitter is hot anyway! I'm so bad!!! lol!
