What a New Years!!!

To start off... The Radio interview went well on Sunday. It was me, Josh and Tommy and we basically talked about the band and the new album. It was really good exposure and fun to do.

So... I did drink a good bit on New Years Eve and New Years itself, bit not as much as I thought I would have. I really tried to be a good girl... ha. Anywhoo, the show on New Years Eve was amazing. The best yet. We didn't go on until maybe 10:50, so we played like a full set and around song #11, the clock hit Midnight and we went into a rocking version of Auld Lang Syne. After it was over, we had maybe 3 more songs and we took a little break and most of the guys went to spend a little time with their significant others and that left me and Allen onstage with no one to go to so he walked over to me and we chatted a bit... I felt a little connection with him since he joined the band... And I've always thought, that since I've been Bree, that he might, well, like me when he's been around the band. We stood up to go mingle and he put his arm around me and hugged me and then kissed my cheek and said thanks for all this, that it's a dream come true for him. I'm sure I looked a little shocked, but I said You're Welcome and did a cute, Bree smile,  and we went down and talked to a few peeps for like 10 minutes then came back up and did like 3 more songs. It's been weird, because, since he's been in the band, there's this connection... Like, I feed off of him and maybe he feeds off of me. I find myself turning around and jamming to what he's doing, like if he does a sweet fill or something and vise-versa. I don't know... It's just... just... hmm.

We have another radio interview tomorrow and this time we're doing a few songs in the studio, with the full band - Josh, Me, Allen, Tommy, Robbie and Aaron. Gonna be tight, but we'll make it work.

Ugg!!!

So, I didn't sleep really at all the last night in England and then there was the flight and then I couldn't sleep last night here so today, I feel like shit!!!

There's band rehearsal tonight and and then Josh just informed me there's a show on Thursday! OMG!!! TOO MUCH TO HANDLE! Nah, not really but damn, so much going on right when I get back and I still have some shopping to do too! Oh well, no rest for the weary!

I'm supposed to get back some of the DROPDEAD pics like tomorrow and I can't wait! And then the SINSTAR ones are also gonna be emailed to me soon as well and as soon as I get them, I'll put them up on here. I really want you guys to see them. Also, Carolyn just sent me more of the ones from her place that I did a while back and I'll put a few of those on here soon, too!

Now! NEED CEREAL! NEED LUCKY CHARMS!!!

I also have to change the strings on at least one of my guitars and all sorts of other stuff... Ugg again! I better have some Lucky Charms!!!

Show Today at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale

I'm about to leave the office today and head over to Josh's and get all packed up for the show tonight. We have about a 45 minute drive from his house to the venue and we have sound check around 4:30 or so with the show starting around 6:30pm with us going on around 9pm. Two other bands are playing, I think Last Fight for Carla, who we played with last show, and one other one... can't remember.

WE have a pretty good following in FT Lauderdale with lots of people from here probably making the drive there. CDs should be here in a few weeks and that'll be good to have at shows to sell along with our other stuff.

So, about to wrap up a project and send it off and then head outta here.

Ugg... and Hot Selfie

Well, John, our drummer, got totally wasted before the show on Thursday night. He just about wrecked the entire show, totally screwing up almost all of the new songs. We were gonna do 4 new ones and after the second new one, we knew we couldn't do anymore as a band. We finished about 4 more older songs and then me and Josh did the other two new ones we were gonna play acoustic. Needless to say, we kicked him out of the band. HE threw some punches and broke some stuff... Now the search for a new drummer. God, why did this have to happen now. I wish Tonya played drums! That would be awesome!!! A girl drummer in the band, too! How could we go wrong!

Went out after the show with the girls and we had a great time. We went to the beach and then made a late night Waffle House run! I just love the Patty Melt there!!!

Just got up around 2 and took a shower. I'm so freaking lazy and I'm about to go shopping fo sum food! I'm hungry, so that's probably not a good time to go shopping, but, I'm gonna go anyway!

I have another shoot coming up this week, in New York, I think tentatively leaving late Tuesday night or Wednesday! They said something about tomorrow, but wow, that's really soon. Who knows, I just have to go with the flow I guess. Taun-taun's going with me! Should be super fun and amazing! I love that I'm getting to go to so many cool places just so people can take pics of me! This is like the best gig ever! Pics from the other shoot should be out soon. I can't wait to post some on here!

I took this pic in my utility room earlier today. I had to take some trash out and I saw this set-up when I stepped in there and thought it'd do amazing for a selfie. Got my camera and tripod and took a few. This was the winner! Perfect light coming in the door! I really love this pic, if I do say so myself. I also really love my outfit!

Show-Time! in a Few Days.

We have a show lined up for Thursday night at a club downtown. Josh called me just a little while ago and told me but I forgot the name of the place. He woke me up, so... He was on his lunch break and I was still asleep! Lol! He has a real job! Ha! NOT ME!!! Although... I can imagine I have quite a lot of stuff to do in the office today... If I go in. But, it's fun designing stuff, most of the time.

I have an unmastered copy of the cd right now and I'm just going to play along with it and get all the songs and parts in my head cause we have a super long practice scheduled for Wednesday night at Josh's place. I can't wait to play this stuff live. We're not playing all of the new songs, like maybe 3 or 4, but it will be fun. Playing live is so much fun. I love it!

Fun Times in England with Melody!

So, as it turns out, me and this other model, Melody, are gonna be the featured female models for the Autumn 2013 line and featured on the website predominantly!!! How cool is that! She's been a model here in England for a while and been with SINSTAR for a year now. We totally hit it off immediately and have been hanging out between shoots! And... she's pretty hot as well with some awesome tats, too! We did a really cool outdoor shoot last night! There is this really amazing pic of me! I can't wait to post it.

They said that these pics will go up almost immediately. They are eager to get this new line up and how cool is that. I'll be a featured model on a clothing companies website like by the end of the week! And, the coolest part, I get to keep all the clothes and they're giving me tons more to take back home with me! Rad!!!

Me Recording Vocals

On my phone messing around and I thought I'd do a little post... Josh just sent me this pic. He said I might have to go back and put some high harmony parts on all the songs. Not sure if he was kidding or not but I think my parts sound really great!!!

As much as I love being in the studio, I'm kinda ready for all the recording to be finished. It almost is, but now me and Josh have to go back with the producer and go through all the songs for final listens and make sure everything is good before we send it off for mastering. The producer we brought in is awesome and is amazing to work with! His wife is really cool too and really loves out band. We have hung out some in the studio while the other guys have been recording parts...

Looks like I'll be doing some more shoots soon. And... Carolyn was right. There are a few clothing companies that want me to model for them so I may be heading out of town for some interviews and the likes pretty soon! One company is British! Cool stuff happening! Keep checking for updates.

About to get some pizza... I'm so sucking at my diet...

The End to a Cool Friday!

My proposal went over very well at work today! I just basically have to be there for a total of what would add up to two work days per week during times when I'm not doing a location shoot somewhere else. I'm taking a pay-cut but I'm fairly sure the modeling thing will supersede what I was already making by a long-shot! Pretty cool how everyhting's working out! Everyone I told thought that it was really cool and were really supportive. Tiffany thought it was really cool! She said she's always wanted to be a model. I told her I could introduce her to Carolyn and maybe it could happen. She's really quite a good looking girl! TIFFANY!

I also told the guys in the band after practice. John kinda looked a little too happy about it. I just really have a hard time liking that guy. If he wasn't suck a rock solid drummer, he'd be out... Me and Josh talked a little more. We both agreed that this could be some huge publicity for the band. We're getting together, just the two of us, to work on some more material for out first LP. So far we have about 8 songs that are about 85% finished. We want maybe like 11 or so. I told him that I have a couple that I wanna let him hear and that maybe I could do lead vox on one or two... He seemed cool with the idea! Woo hoo!

Anyway, it's time for me and Olivia to return to something that we haven't been doing in a while... Getting Naked on the Couch and Watching Letterman! That always leads to some fun times!!!
